Pintail Wildlife Drive and Boardwalk

Located on Cameron Prairie National Wildlife Refuge. Three mile driving loop through moist soil wetlands which are managed to provide habitat for wintering waterfowl. Viewing of a huge variety of wildlife & birds year round. Replete with waterfowl during the winter. Northern side of loop usually boasts many alligator sightings, assuming the weather is good. Fully accessible half-mile (round trip) boardwalk over freshwater marsh, including viewing scopes and interpretive panels, is also located along Pintail Wildlife Drive.
