Southwest Louisiana National Wildlife Refuge Complex Visitor Center

Unique interpretive and interactive wildlife and Cajun culture displays. A wealth of information about the four refuges which make up the complex including a short video which can be viewed in the visitor center theatre.
.25 mile boardwalk entrance over freshwater marsh, pond and moist soil prairies offers alligator, turtle and wetlands wildlife viewing.
Another boardwalk, access thru the rear of the visitor center, generally provides excellent viewing of roseate spoonbills, ibis and herons. 

Public restrooms available during regular business hours (Mon-Thurs 7:30 am-4 pm; Fri 7:30 am-3 pm.)
